4 years led to the most joyful day for Kylie Anne & Dan. When I say these two have a crew of people, it’s the truth – big families on both sides and a squad of loving friends that all stood by their side on 7/7. The girls all danced and laughed as they got ready (in the Lace House’s gorgeous bridal suite) and I caught a few shots of Dan’s older brother helping him get ready before everything began. KA & Dan had a few minutes alone for their first look and portraits, and read their sweet vows to each other on a bench outside the venue. This day was such a blend of tenderness and “ready to dance” kind of feels, and I feel like that is the best way to describe a wedding day. Side note: KA told me to “surprise” Dan and ask his groomsmen to throw him in the air during groomsmen portraits, it was definitely one of the funniest parts of the day!
Their ceremony was held in the long garden at the back of the Lace House grounds, in front of a wooden cross draped in magnolia leaves. Dan’s father officiated each of his siblings’ weddings, and continued on the tradition with these two, such a special touch that was one of my favorite things about this day.
What a perfect celebration to culminate those four years. KA & Dan, I am so grateful to know you and call you friends. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Hoppe!
